We had an excellent stay the first week of September, and Porthbean beach being within walking distance was a real bonus - great for swimming at high tide and not busy. The cottage was well equipped with lovely outdoor spaces (balcony and garden with seating) for a sunny day. Might be a bit of a squeeze for 6 people (there were only 2 of us), but the standard of finish of the rooms and the whole booking procedure are very good. Probably not popular with many people, but we were delighted that no pets are allowed at the cottage. Plenty of places and things to do within a short distance of the cottage. We had a lovely time!...

This is a great location for exploring the beautiful Roseland peninsula. We had some fantastic walks around both the creeks and the coast. Be prepared for narrow lanes though! The barn is beautifully furnished and the bed in the master bedroom is fantastically comfortable. Lovely to have some outside space too. We were also very happy that it is a pet-free space, definitely better for us....
