Otter's Holt Shepherd's Hut

Stayed here recently and I must say, was excellent. Our first time staying in a shepherds hut and we were not disappointed. Very friendly reception and information book was very useful. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect little shepherds hut with excellent fittings and comfy furnishings set in a beautiful rural location. Hot tub and firepit are perfect additions to spend evenings enjoying the surroundings. Pretty close to some lovely coastal towns like Sidmouth. Would highly recommend....

Really lovely location, very easy to find and wish we stayed longer. Perfect for if you want to take your dog with you as the hut is completely enclosed and can roam freely. Had everything we needed and was such a relaxing few days. Cannot recommend this enough! 10/10...

Such a fabulous last minute get away. Cosy, clean and very dog friendly. Huge comfy bed and very spacious, I feel the photos don’t do it justice. A great little find for a peaceful few days a way to switch of.

If you are wanting to experience complete peace and seclusion - I would thoroughly recommend booking Bluestone Shepherds Hut. It is in a beautiful situation surrounded by trees and a constant chorus of birdsong. We received a warm welcome from the owner Vikki, who was very friendly and helpful. The hut itself was immaculate and very cosy - the bed was super comfy and the shower was hot. If you are visiting with dogs, they will love it! The garden to the Shepherds Hut is approx quarter of an acre of grass where they can have a really good run whilst their owners can completely relax, safe in the knowledge the fences are completely secure so there will be no escapees!! Ottery St. Mary is not too far from Beer, Dawlish, Exmouth, Sidmouth - for dog owners wanting to use the beaches it's best to wait until after 30th Sept. when restrictions are lifted.
