Hidden gem ... wine merchant 300 yards away lovely family business . Enclosed garden , tranquil listening to birds ....can see why Christopher Robin chose this location to escape hectic life ! ...

Beautiful gem of a cottage. We stayed here during a week of sunshine, and the gorgeous garden was a perfect hidden suntrap, while the living area downstairs stayed lovely and cool - in colder months I imagine it would be very cosy with a fire blazing in the wood burner. Furnishings, including beds, were extremely comfortable, and my teenagers and I had everything we needed. We had a BBQ one night, movies snuggled up on the sofa another night, and during the day we explored Dartmouth, Salcombe (boat ride), and of course the legendary Blackpool Sands beach (more than once). The Green Dragon in nearby Stoke Fleming serves really nice food and staff were incredibly friendly....

This is our 2nd stay at Eeyores cottage. It's perfect. We'll equipped, lovely decor, quiet and quaint. Lovely terraced garden to sit in too. We hardly saw a car and there's ample parking outside the house. Beautiful walk along a narrow lane to the scenic Blackpool sands, nice cafe, and vineyard and wine shop 10 mins walk away. Need to drive to shops but supermarket is only 10 mins away and plenty of places to eat, drink and see in nearby Dartmouth. Highly recommend a stay. ...
