It was a shame we couldn’t meet the owners due to your instructions at classic, we received a lovely card explaining why from the owners, maybe next time.. tv seem to be effected by the rain in room and bedroom it didn’t bother us but some tv addicts could have a gripe, also towel rail in bathroom didn’t come on but we managed with extra towels we brought.. everything else perfect....

Our stay at Mackerel Sky was our first 'escape' during the bad year of Covid 19 and as we are over 70 it was with some trepidation that we booked the accommodation. However, our concerns were dispelled very quickly during our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed the cottage which is so well positioned and maintained and ideal for walking down to the coast. In more summery weather (we stayed in early October) the patio area would have been perfect for eating outside and relaxing. Did we enjoy it? Well, we've booked for next year!...

Mackeral Sky was the perfect cottage for us as a couple to stay and enjoy the Cornish countryside. It is close to St Just which has all of the basic services to help fit us up for the week. The cottage was clean and well appointed with modern appliances and furniture. Wifi worked perfectly. An extra bonus was that it has a walk-in-closet that was plenty big enough to store all of our luggage and keep it out of site. We would recommend Mackeral Sky for any couple wishing to explore Cornwall....

An excellent location, an immaculate cottage, private parking and garden. Amenities are all within driving distance and the town of ST Just is beautiful. If you are looking to visit this area of Cornwall this would be a lovely place to stay.
