Mackerel Sky is a very comfortable, cosy and pretty cottage located in a quite and peaceful setting. Suitable for couples . The property was very well stocked with any equipment needed during our stay. Sennan Cove is a short drive away , would recommend watching the sunset there , got some beautiful photos and also recommend a show at the Minack Theatre. ...

A pleasure to stay in a place which had been so well converted, and kept in such good order. The best heating and shower of anywhere we have rented, and adequate drying facilities (very important in Cornwall in November!) including an excellent boot rack. Well equipped kitchen: no corners cut anywhere. If you like your walking, there's a full week of exploring to be done from the house without needing to get in your car. Cot Valley is beautiful and offers easy access to the coast. Inland a maze of footpaths and lanes, mostly clear and well trodden - much less variable than where we live in N. Cornwall.We will return there when we next holiday in that area....

Mackerel Sky is in an excellent location and several walks can be made from the property and if you wish to explore further using public transport the coastal bus service stops outside the entrance gate. The cottage is well decorated/furnished and warm in chilly weather....

A lovely cottage for two people. Very clean and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. Good parking, and handy for St Just, Cape Cornwall, and numerous nearby footpaths. Ben and Bex were a pleasure to deal with, and responded quickly to any inquiries that we had. We would definitely use Mackerel Sky again, and would recommend it to friends....
