Beer is one of the pretty fishing villages or seaside towns to visit along the east Devon coast.
The Jurassic Coast is stunning - you might recognise this view from the television series Broadchurch!
Nearby Lyme Regis has something for everyone, Dinosaur and fossil museums, fishing trips, some great cafes, pubs and restaurants, or you may choose just to watch the world go by.
The Axe Valley - travel alongside the wild bird reserve on the tram from Colyton.
Seaton wetlands, enjoy the bird and insect life along the river Axe, only assistance dogs are allowed.

This cottage is a real find. Immaculate condition but very homely and perfect for families. We really appreciated the books and toys. Colyton is a lovely village and a great base for exploring the Devon/Dorset coast.
