This is the closest beach - a wonderful stretch of pebbles at Seaton. You can go there by tram from Colyton!
Beer is one of the pretty fishing villages or seaside towns to visit along the east Devon coast.
The Jurassic Coast is stunning - you might recognise this view from the television series Broadchurch!
Nearby Lyme Regis has something for everyone, Dinosaur and fossil museums, fishing trips, some great cafes, pubs and restaurants, or you may choose just to watch the world go by.
The Axe Valley - travel alongside the wild bird reserve on the tram from Colyton.
Seaton wetlands, enjoy the bird and insect life along the river Axe, only assistance dogs are allowed.

The cottage is lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. It is well equipped with lots of books, games, DVD's and a comfy sofa! The kitchen is also really well equipped, a real home from home. The village of Colyton is really nice with everything in walking distance. A short drive to the coast of Beer and Sidmouth and the Tram ride from Colyton to Seaton is a must. Would highly recommend and hope to return in the future....

We have stayed in this cottage six times now, so I think that says a lot. It is comfortable , clean and very well equipped . There is parking on site for two cars which is something to consider when you are holidaying with children and a dog .

Lovely spacious property situated in the quaint village of Colyton. We enjoyed the tram ride to Seaton, the Riverside walk in Colyton, a fossil walk at Lyme Regis, drinking a pint of beer at Beer and walks along the coast path. The cottage is in a quiet location but within a few minutes walk from pubs and local shops....

A bright and spacious house, comfortable and very well equipped. Colyton is a nice village with walks along the river. Lots of lovely areas close by - Lyme Regis and Beer were super. Hope to return
