Rubble Cottage is a beautiful, well equipped and comfortable cottage. Just off the main road so it's very quiet. Found a much nearer carpark just around the corner, a few hundred yds away. Plenty of places to eat. We personally loved The Tolcarne Inn and The Fisherman's Arms not forgetting Lewis's chippy. Penzance and Mousehole are around a mile away so easy to walk. A visit to the Minack Theatre is a must. Also saw the dolphins on a boat trip to the Isle of Scilly which was a definite highlight.

Cottage perfect and in a good position.

Fabulous property with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Newlyn has plenty of facilities & is close to The Coast Path, which was the main reason for choosing Rubble Cottage. As with the majority of these beautiful places, parking is a pain, but we found a space close by where we could purchase a weekly ticket for £15

This was a lovely clean well-equipped cottage that made a great base for exploring the local area. There is car parking nearby and plenty of good places to eat or to get groceries. There is also a frequent bus service. Highly recommended.

A charming, comfortable and well equipped cottage which was in a great location for us to walk three days of the SW coast path (St Ives round to Penzance). Lots to see and do in the area, though we barely scratch the surface as our main aim was to enjoy our walking though we loved our trip to the Minack Theatre. Spoilt for choice of good places to eat and drink. Location of the cottage was great in Newlyn for easy strolls to buy our fish or have a coffee. Highly recommend. A gem of a cottage and I now want to go and stay there in the winter.

Beautiful, extremely comfortable house, excellently kitted out with everything you need. Lovely cream tea waiting for us on arrival! Our second visit and definitely won’t be our last!

Beautifully presented, extremely well equipped and very comfortable cottage in an excellent location. Highly recommended.

We found Rubble Cottage the perfect base for our holiday, it is beautifully furnished and very well equipped, so comfortable and cosy with the Aga. We enjoyed watching the boats coming and going from the harbour just a few paces from the door and walking down to the shops selling an impressive variety of freshly caught fish.

Rubble Cottage is a lovely cottage, very spacious with good facilities and a well equipped kitchen. I liked the amount of space for hanging coats, leaving boots and bags etc; plenty of hooks and shelf space. The living room is great for relaxing in, comfortable and cosy. Newlyn is a brilliant village, Penzance is a half hour walk along the harbour, there is excellent public transport by bus and train and a lot of west Penwith is pretty much within walking distance.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on Rubble Cottage - It really is a beautiful little cottage in a super lcoation. We'd recommend garbbing a delicious ice-cream on the walk into Penzance or trying some mouth-watering local seafood. We hope to welcome you back again soon. Julie, Customer Support

Rubble Cottage is beautifully furnished and fitted out - we found it extremely comfortable and really pleasant to spend time in, with a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and a luxurious bath. Newlyn was easy to navigate around and we found some good places to eat, beautiful local beaches and things to do. Cornish coastal villages are always hilly so be aware of steep slopes and steps - your calves will remember!

Excellent eateries in and around Newlyn, highly recommend the cinema as well.

Rubble Cottage is an excellent place to stay for walking the Coastal Path.

Highly recommend this cottage for a stay in Cornwall. Extremely comfortable, spacious and well-equipped and in an excellent location. Newlyn is a really interesting working port and the town itself has a range of good eateries and a fabulous cinema. It's also a great location for exploring further afield with easy access to a regular bus service between Mousehole and Penzance.

Very comfortable, cosy, well located, quiet.

Beautiful restored cottage in Newlyn. fabulous out of season so warm and cosy, loved the wood burner and Arga and very well appointed.

Spacious lovely cottage with all the facilities you can possibly want. No you can't see the sea, nor park right outside the front door, but easily made up for by the location and house itself.

....loved it!

A lovely, comfortable cottage that had everything you need for a very enjoyable stay.
Very clean and cozy. We loved being near the harbour.

Great location, spacious and comfortable. Lovely cream tea welcome!

As above. Really enjoyable. Good value. Well positioned for walking and swimming in the sea.

Excellent location for walking around the area with Newlyn being a great place to centre a holiday

The cottage is in a perfect location with views of the harbour. The Aga was a lovely addition to the cottage and the top floor bedroom was spacious and provided excellent views of the local area. In great location for walking along the sea front to Mousehole and along the promenade to Penzance.

A very well appointed, and comfortable, cottage ideally placed for exploring that part of Cornwall.

This was our second holiday at Rubble Cottage and I can honestly say it is the loveliest cottage I have ever stayed in. I'm sure we will return!

Lovely comfortable cosy cottage. Great location.

The house was a delight. Warm and spacious with a lovely cream tea and a bunch of fresh flowers on arrival. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary during our visit and it was the perfect place. Cannot fault it in any way and the only regret is not booking for longer! A fabulous cottage in a wonderful location.

We have stayed in dozens of UK cottages and Rubble Cottage was one of the very nicest. The attention to detail in every aspect from decor to the quality of the sheets was excellent. The cottage was spotless and welcoming on our arrival. We found Newlyn to be charming with everything we needed as a holiday base - highly recommended.

Rubble cottage was absolutely amazing. It was spotless on arrival and there was a lovely welcoming gift of a cream tea and lovely flowers, very thoughtful. The cottage was so spacious, there were 4 of us so if we wanted to chill in different rooms we could! Our room at the top was exceptionally amazing. Newlyn is a lovely little fishing harbour and the cottage is a very short walk to it. We went crabbing off the harbour which was fun. There are a few shops, pubs and restaurants in Newlyn, also an amazing fish and chip shop! Everyone was very friendly. The location of the cottage was fantastic, we walked to penzance and walked to mousehole (which was lovely), both were lovely walks. There are lots of places to drive to, which we did. There are lots more places we could have visited but ran out of days so we will definitely be going back and we would definitely book rubble cottage again! We had an amazing holiday.

A wonderful cottage in a lovely location. Would love to visit again, it was a very memorable Christmas. Thankyou for some lovely memories.

What a perfect spot to enjoy a festive break. Did you see the unique Christmas tree in the village? Made entirely from reclaimed fishing gear found in the harbour, it's recycling at it's best! Tanya, Customer Support

A truly lovely cottage with every comfort provided. The main bedroom is to die for and the beds so very comfortable. We very much hope to return next year.

Clean, comfortable, lots of character.

Wonderful cottage, great location.

Looking forward to returning again soon to Rubble cottage, well equipped and furnished. A week wasn't long enough at this fabulous cottage.

Seemless feeling at home on vacation in the charming old fishing harbour town Newlyn situated in probably one of Cornwall‘s most attractive areas nested between picturesque Mousehole and Pensance close by and awesome beaches within reach like Sennen Cove, Gwithian Towans Beach close to St. Ives and Purthcurno Beach with the not to be missed Minack Theatre just above. The amenities provided by the cottage were to the full expectations of my family of five. The Cottage is a high recommend to families.

Rubble cottage was so adorable! Beautifully decorated and super comfy beds and couches to relax on. The car park is a very short walk down the road which made life much easier. Newlyn is a really lovely little seaside town - make sure you go to Jelberts ice cream store! An easy 20 min walk into Penzance too (along the sea).

We second that a trip to Jelberts is a must if you are in Newlyn - and don't forget the clotted cream! We're so pleased you had a wonderful stay at Rubble Cottage - great location, gorgeous interior (and so close to Jelberts) - you'll never want to leave. Tressa, Customer Support

Brilliantly converted cottage in the heart of Newlyn

Rubble Cottage is beautifully restored with all modern needs catered for, but still loads of character. We loved the harbour being just a few paces from the front door. Watching the fishing boats bring in our fish for Fridays supper was magical. Nearby art galleries were the icing on the cake.

Rubble Cottage is beautifully presented in a historic part of Newlyn. What a treat to be able to buy the days catch from one of the fish merchants or go to one of the local pubs and enjoy it freshly cooked. The cottage is in very easy reach of the outstanding area of southwest Cornwall and the supply of a parking permit makes parking in Newlyn easy

Second time we have been will return again in the future

Lovely cottage, everything you could wish for a holiday in a really good location, Newlyn has everything you could need, good bus routs, plenty of places to eat and drink, even a cinema with the comfiest seats ever.

Beautiful cottage the pictures really don't do it the justice it deserves. Very well equipped and great having the travel cot too.

The parking permit was a welcome bonus every detail had been well executed and it was a lovely experience from start to finish

Rubble Cottage is a delightful character property in an excellent location for access to facilities in Newlyn. It was very well restored, furnished and equipped. The parking permit is an extremely useful bonus.

An absoluteley wonderful holiday cottage.

We throughly enjoyed our festive break in Rubble Cottage. The cottage was welcoming, comfortable, warm and fully equipped - a regular home from home. We hope to return before too long.

Really enjoyed our stay, cottage is great, location for visiting the area is spot on.

First rate, highly recommended for families to explore Far West Cornwall.

Every eventuality was catered for, we couldn't have wished for better!

A perfect cottage in a wonderful location. Beautifully presented and very well equipped, the cottage was cosy and warm despite mid winter weather. We have rented holiday houses all over the world and Rubble Cottage is one of the cleanest, most comfortable and well presented places we have stayed in. We will definitely return on our next visit to Cornwall.

Rubble Cottage is a superb property and in a great location for visiting West Cornwall. It is beautifully furnished and well equipped. It was all we were hoping for and more!

A perfect cottage in a beautiful part of the country, We all felt comfortable and relaxed the moment that we walked through the door!! It really was a very special holiday, made even better by the warm, homely feeling of Rubble cottage.

The photographs give a very accurate impression of a very stylish, cosy and comfortable cottage, beautifully renovated with care, centrally situated in narrow streets off Newlyn Harbour.

We had a wonderful stay at Rubble Cottage. Both Classic Cottages and the owner of Rubble Cottage were both so helpful and accessible before and during our stay. I could not recommend it highly enough. We will be back!

Lovely well appointed and furnished cottage, quiet and peaceful yet only feet away from the bustling Newlyn Harbour.

We are thrilled to have discovered Rubble Cottage, it looked beautiful in the photos but on arrival it exceeded our expectations. Wonderfully equipped and warm, cosy with the utmost attention to detail. The flowers, cream tea and milk in fridge was a lovely welcoming touch. We will certainly be back.

A beautiful cottage in a great location.

Rubble Cottage a home from home.

Charming, atmospheric cottage in an area steeped in artistic history. Owners very friendly and approachable. We would definitely come here again.

An excellent, well presented character cottage in a great location. Anna really made us feel welcome and we had a lovely stay.

Rubble Cottage is a beautifully refurbished cottage in the heart of historic Newlyn. The cottage is extremely well-equipped and comfortable with wonderful bathrooms. Step out of the door and you are on the streets that the Newlyn School painters lived and painted in.

Excellent property just as it says on the website fabulous place

Would highly recommend this cottage and area it's a great place to stay and is just a wonderful home, thank you to all for a wonderful holiday.

Suberb location and outstanding property. The scones and cream were a great welcome after a long trip. Couldnt fault it ,

Any of the above. Everything was in pristine condition and we really could not find anything wrong. It is quite expensive but we felt worth every penny.
