If you are very lucky (and very quiet) you may spot the resident Kingfisher!
The bedroom is filled with warm touches to make you feel welcome and at home.
Open up the French windows and just listen to the bird song here.

There is a kitchen tucked into one corner of the open plan living space. Please note, the gas hob was replaced with an induction hob in May 2024 (new photos available soon).

We loved this place.The cottage was stylish,spotlessly clean and very well equipped.High level of comfort throughout.The setting is lovely.You overlook a large garden,with a lake and hillside beyond. Sitting on the lounger felt like I was in Monets garden..The owners are nearby to assst if needed but they never intrude.The refreshments that greeted our arrival reflect the generosity of spirit in the the accomodation.. There are many N.T. properties and private historical houses and gardens to visit.We had a great time and the high standard of the accomodation and its location contributed greatly to this....

The cottage is a great place for two people to stay. It is in a magical quiet location with spectacular views and a lovely duck pond right outside. It is a good base for exploring Exmoor with fantastic moor and valley walks all around. Bruno and Annie were great hosts, with a lovely plate of sloe gin mince pies to welcome us. We had a great relaxing Christmas there, with very seasonal snow at the end of our stay. The cottage is well equipped and we even managed to make full Christmas dinner. If you want to escape the crowds and switch off in a very comfortable and cosy cottage this is ideal....

A stunning cottage that is very tastefully decorated and well equipped in an idyllic setting. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The cottage was so inviting and cosy after a day of sightseeing during Autumn. We loved listening to the stream and watching the ducks every morning. We met the lovely owners who had left us a cream tea, wine and crisps upon arrival and they were great as they couldn't do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable.
