The pond is in front of the cottage - you can watch the antics of the resident ducks and see what other birds you can spot.

If you are very lucky (and very quiet) you may spot the resident Kingfisher!

Open up the French windows and just listen to the bird song here.

There is a kitchen tucked into one corner of the open plan living space. Please note, the gas hob was replaced with an induction hob in May 2024 (new photos available soon).

We were so pleased to have found such a fabulous place to stay with our dog. The owners were very friendly and helpful, we happened to share our week with the Beast from the East and they left the heating on day and night, we were very cosy while snowed in for a couple of days. We hope to go back with the Scorcher from the South next time....

Practically perfect! Bruno and Annie are marvellous hosts and made us very welcome in their wonderful country retreat. The wood burner was ideal for warming the very snug & comfortable cottage, would like to return in the summer to enjoy the idyllic private garden with it's peaceful outlook over the rolling hills, it's a lovely location. The cottage is ideal for walkers and especially if you have a dog as the Exmoor Pubs are very dog friendly and serve excellent food at very reasonable prices....

The owners live next door and made us very welcome but were not intrusive. A beautiful setting, very peaceful with lovely views, a little stream and lake - and Muscovy ducks to entertain us! The cosy cottage was very comfortable and well equipped.
