We had a lovely holiday, our second visit. There is a lovely sitting out area. It is in a quiet location. There are passing trains and the station is a short walk away at Dawlish Warren. This is a good way of travelling to many locations. The views across to Exmouth are lovely. There is also a ferry service across to Exmouth. Dawlish Warren has an 18 hole golf course. Accommodation is of a high standard - a bit quirky with its upside down living and steps/beams but that just added to its charm. Good location for enjoying a variety of activities and places to visit. Host is on site and very helpful.

A lovely clean cottage with excellent facilities. The setting is very good, with views across the estuary to Exmouth. Really liked the trains passing infront if the cottage. Lovely location for using trains, boats, buses. Excellent walking area, never far from the sea and the Nature Reserve. Close to many places to visit. Warren Hayloft is a beautiful holiday cottage on the edge of a very well kept small farm near the village of Starcross in Devon. The accommodation is well appointed with simple but stylish design and decoration, and everything is very well maintained. The two bedrooms on the lower level are comfortable and quiet, and the en-suite bathroom in the main bedroom is spacious and clean. The shower is very powerful, so much so that we had to turn it right down! There are animals in the adjoining fields, so you can listen to the cows, sheep and llama chatting during the day, and watch bats flying around at dusk. The trainline runs a few hundred yards away, but is pretty quiet so there is little noise intrusion, and the trains don't run all night. Views across the countryside and down to the estuary really top things off. This is a lovely place for a relaxing holiday!...
