The gate to Fairview - you will easily spot it from the path as there is a sign on the wall next to the path too.
You can catch the little passenger ferry across to Fowey from the quayside in Polruan. You might be lucky enough to see a dolphin swimming alongside it.
The Lugger Inn is one of two good pubs in Polruan.
This is the amazing panoramic view to the west along the coast from the top of the hill next to the car park above Polruan.
This is the view that is in store for you if you take the coastal path towards Polperro.
Most of the harbours have lovely stetches of sand at low tide. This is Polkerris.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan are amazing and well worth a visit.

Really lovely cosy house for our Christmas stay. The log fire worked well with a good supply of dry logs. Comfy beds and furnishings in the lounge. Location is great for accessing to the harbour and both pubs just a few minutes walk away. Also for getting up to the coast path and then along to Lantic Bay beach. Access is down a steep path so there's some bag carrying to do on arrival and departure. Well stocked kitchen meant we could cook for Christmas. Thanks!...

Beautiful house with stunning views. Lovely to wake up to the Fowey estuary view everyday. Loved hopping on the ferry to Fowey and all the walks . Very steep access lane away from carpark , lots of trips to and from car. Very enjoyable stay.

Fairview is a great property with fabulous views from inside and out, a garden in sunshine all day. Be prepared for the walk from the car park and the steep slopes of the town, backing your car as close to the cottage as possible down Hockens Lane makes loading and unloading a lot easier. This is a simply great place to relax with good facilities in Polruan and without the bustle of Fowey which, nevertheless, is just a short ferry ride across the river.
