Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Loved being in the middle of nowhere over christmas. Perfect. The scones on arrival was a lovely touch. After reading previous reviews about the gate having wide gaps so small dogs could escape we took some plastic mesh and zip ties and that worked perfectly to keep our little dogs safe during our stay. We were looking for a peaceful stay for a double birthday break. This place far exceeded expectations, so spacious and relaxing with everything you could need and dog friendly too. Comfortable beds and very clean. Having a Prosecco in the hot tub gazing at the stars was the icing on the cake! May be too remote for some down some narrow lanes, but perfect for us. We had some lovely walks on snowy Dartmoor. Just the break we needed....

The Barn is beautiful. Very well equipped, clean and in very pleasant surroundings. The hosts are very kind, not intrusive and are very considerate. They actually really care if you have a nice time.
