We were looking for a peaceful stay for a double birthday break. This place far exceeded expectations, so spacious and relaxing with everything you could need and dog friendly too. Comfortable beds and very clean. Having a Prosecco in the hot tub gazing at the stars was the icing on the cake! May be too remote for some down some narrow lanes, but perfect for us. We had some lovely walks on snowy Dartmoor. Just the break we needed....

The Barn is beautiful. Very well equipped, clean and in very pleasant surroundings. The hosts are very kind, not intrusive and are very considerate. They actually really care if you have a nice time. Some lovely welcome gifts in arrival a lovely afternoon tea and card and some flowers. I would really recommend this cottage if you are looking for a rural quiet getaway it's perfect. We were delighted with our stay at Moorhayes. A beautiful renovated barn, with everything we needed. We wanted to enjoy a quieter location, and walking our dog through the countryside. We enjoyed the luxury of the hot tub, so beautiful on a clear starry night. The underfloor hearing in the barn was really efficient, and we did have to light the log burner to indulge in the full experience! And scones, cream and jam were a lovely welcome.
