Sea Cottage is in a unique position with direct access to the beach and the Tarka Cycle Trail, with the local cricket club and access track to the cottage on the other side of the Cottage.
Walk down into the town and catch the ferry over to Appledore.
Instow's sandy beach is wonderful at low and high tide.
Sea Cottage is tucked away in the sand dunes to the left of this photograph of Instow.
The passenger ferry will take you from Appledore to Instow during the summer months.
The Instow Cricket Club is a stone's throw from the cottage. This must be the best location to watch a summer match!
Woolacombe is one of many stunning north coast beaches.
This is the seemingly endless beach at nearby Saunton Sands.
Charming Clovelly is a short car journey away.
Sit by the harbour at Clovelly and take in the lovely view of the village.
Take the passenger ferry to Lundy Island from Bideford for a day of bird watching.
Have a day of adventure at North Devon Wake Park where you can wakeboard, paddle board or enjoy the giant aquapark!

For anyone wanting a typical beach/bike/walking holiday this little cottage is brilliant. Small but perfectly formed and ideal for those wanting to leave the car at the door and relax. Beautifully decorated and equipped. Owner Alison, is a very welcoming hostess who pays attention to detail which is lovely....

The cottage was very clean and tidy and had just about everything that we could need for our stay. In addition we had some very nice 'gooey' Swedish chocolate brownie type cake that the owner had made for us. Incidentally she also kept in touch with us and we were well informed as to what was going on via text. It was a charming little place and just what we needed for a few days away. So all in order it was very good and we enjoyed it....

On arrival first impressions left us feeling a little disappointed when approaching the property, but what a delightful surprise when we entered. Stunning, comfortable, clean, light and airy. The homemade carrot cake and fresh eggs and milk were a lovely gesture from the owner. Definatley looking to go back....
