There is also a private sheltered area at the side of the Lodge. It is quite a suntrap. This area can be enclosed if you wish.

Killerton House is the nearest National Trust property, with lovely gardens and the 800 acre Ashclyst Forest to explore.
Budleigh Salterton is another lovely little coastal town on the Jurassic Coast.

Fantastic location, with wood walks on the doorstep which the dog loved. Easy to get to the coast and other parts of the area. The accommodation was lovely and comfy with everything that you would need during your stay. Lovely gardens to relax in and enjoyed the peace. We would definitely recommend the cityage and hope to go back there again...

I have stayed in many holiday properties over the years and Mount Pleasant Lodge is excellent on all levels. I would highly recommend this property, the location is brilliant and the local pubs provide lovely food and service. Plenty of places to visit without driving long distances....

Gill and Terry, the owners, gave us a very warm welcome, the best we have had. They were friendly and extremely helpful but gave us full privacy to enjoy our stay. It is the first property I have stayed in where I immediately relaxed, it was so peaceful and calming. There is a lot to do in the area, much of which is close by you just have to navigate Devon roads. We had our 8 year old spaniel with us and he loved the garden, particularly first thing in the morning with the fresh smells from animals passing through in the night. We will definitely be visiting again and would recommend it to anyone viewing it online. ...
