Wonderful cottage in an idyllic location. Second time here and hopefully will be back. The hosts are lovely, on hand to help but not intrusive. Perfect location for exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall.

We had such a lovely stay at the coach house cottage on the Boskenna Estate. The cottage was perfect for the two of us and our Border Terrier Merlin. The estate setting itself is beautiful, especially the wooded walk alongside a tumbling stream down to the boulder beach at St Loy's Cove. Bluebells and other spring flowers scattered among tropical plants gave the area a real magical feel. The same walk gave access to the Salt Path (SW Coastal Path). We took a fantastic 10 mile walk West to Lands End, passing Porthcurno, The Minack Theatre and the unspoilt fishing hamlet of Penberth Cove. Walking East 2.5 miles along the Salt Path takes you through semi tropical gardens on the way to the artists and writers favourite, Lamorna Cove. A further 2.5 miles from Lamorna round the path and we were in picturesque Mousehole for ice cream. It is a great location for exploring other treasures in the area such as St Michaels Mount, Kyance Cove and the Lizard. We also ventured 25 mins up the coast for some body boarding at the surfing hotspot Sennen Cove! The Mackerel Sky Seafood Bar in Newlyn is a must try... Maggie and Tim were great hosts.
