This beautiful cottage was the home of the Dorset novelist Thomas Hardy and is one of a number of places to visit near Dorchester that are connected to the author.

We can recommend the cottage for seeing Dorset area and coast, Bridport was worth a visit to the Saturday market and explore this lovely coastal town.
