The bedroom' s side window looks out to the grassy bank behind the cottage that borders the adjacent field. It is not overlooked at all.
There is a fitted dressing table and plenty of wardrobe space. The door leads to the wet-room style shower-room.
The shower-room has a convenient wet-room shower-area. It can be accessed directly from the single bedroom too.
The single bedroom is tucked away at the back of the cottage - again, not overlooked at all.
There is plenty of storage in this bedroom too
By the entrance door is your utility-area and to the left of it the cloakroom.
The Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is renowned for its natural habitats..... some prefer to visit the pretty garden that the cottage looks out over !
The coast is an easy drive - this is Sidmouth in east Devon.
The National Trust gardens and house at Killerton between Tiverton and Exeter.
Explore the Jurassic Coast a little further afield into Dorset - within easy reach of Birch House Studio.

Our second visit to Birch House Studio, as last time we were made very welcome by Judy & Tim. Spotless on arrival. All you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Equipped well. Bed comfortable & furniture. Always good to have armchairs as well as a settee, especially for people who need extra help getting in & out of chairs. Super pub nearby, The Half Moon, who serve excellent food. Also a couple of shops not too far away. We certainly hope to return. Thank you Judy & Tim....

Comfortable little cottage with all you need for an enjoyable stay. Warm and cozy. Lovely, welcoming owner. Under a mile to the local pub, but it is a very steep mile.

The property is satisfactory and as shown in photographs and description. There is a large open plan area (including kitchen) and 2 bedrooms which both lead into the shower room. There is an outside patio/driveway space. Unfortunately, I had a number of problems. The worst was the wi-fi, which varied between non-existent to desperately slow (too slow to support many internet functions). The landline did not work for incoming calls. There is a very poor mobile signal locally, so these are important. The parking is very tight. As ever, it depends on your priorities. The guest book had lots of favourable comments in it....
