Reached via a network of pretty country lanes, tucked behind the Owners' home but incredibly private, this is an idyllic rural location if you are seeking peace and tranquility.
There is a wealth of information in the cottage so that you can choose a walking route that suits you and learn about the local area and its history. Wellington is the nearest little town and a bit further afield you can visit Taunton to the north or Honiton to the south. The Cathedral City of Exeter is a good day out too – with the lovely cathedral green and the quay to enjoy as well as the wide range of shops of course. Gandy Street is a quirky little shopping lane in one of the older parts of Exeter near to the museum and the remains of the Roman walls. Back in Rosemary Lane you can walk to the very popular pub at Clayhidon if you are feeling energetic on a lovely summer's evening – sit outside in the beer garden and take in the wonderful views – it is less than a mile from the cottage.
