Portreath is only a few minutes' drive from the cottage. Such a lovely beach.
Perranporth beach, is a little further up the coast.
Porthtowan beach is also just a short drive from Kernel's Barn.
The secure bike store is very handy if you want to bring your own bikes with you, alternatively you can hire from the centre next door.

Lovely, peaceful location. Comfy beds. We loved having the half stable door open. South West Coast path a short ride away with fabulous beaches and tin mines. Minack Theatre was a gem too.

Thank-you for a lovely holiday. Very comfortable clean cottage. Friendly helpful owners. Our 2 year old enjoyed meeting the farm animals. 5 minute drive to sandy Porthtowan beach with good cafe, ice cream shop, bar and chippy.

Kernels Barn is a lovely base to explore Cornwall. It is clean, comfortable and very well equipped and the owners Sally and Brian are lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.
