Head up into the Quantock Hills across the Vale of Taunton. This is Headford Reservoir. There is a parking/viewing point where you can take in the beautiful view.
Head west to the classic english moorland of Exmoor, with it's iconic Exmoor ponies.
Just a few miles away are the Somerset Levels, with waterways buzzing with insects and the air filled with birdsong. You may even get a view of Glastonbury Tor.
The amazing beach at Kilve on the north Somerset coast. This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and famous for fossils.

Our first time using Classic Cottages and we wouldn't hesitate to book again. The property description was highly accurate - we've stayed in converted barns before and few have met expectations but Bumble Bee Barn most certainly did. One of the most comfortable and well equipped holiday rentals we've ever had. The peace and quiet was very welcome and the big hot tub a real bonus. The weather was also very kind and we were able to enjoy the ample outdoor space. We had an excellent holiday and would love to return someday and will certainly use Classic Cottages again. ...

Lovely, comfortable cottage furnished to a high standard. Very well equipped with a lot of thoughtful extra touches and attention to detail. Hot tub was the icing on the cake.
