Polzeath has stunning coastal walks.
A little further up the coast is the pretty village of Port Isaac. Home to TV's Doc Martin, The Fisherman's friends and celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw!

Hop on the foot ferry from Rock over to Padstow, where culinary delights galore await.
If you prefer you can cycle to Padstow along the Camel Trail from Wadebridge.

A lovely place to stay - even nicer than the photos suggest. Just three minutes from the beach (which was excellent as my husband and daughter were surfing most days) and such a lovely view. The beds were also extremely comfortable.
