Bedroom One is on the ground floor, where a super comfy Zip and Link bed awaits. This can be set up as a Super-king or twin beds.

Steps lead from the garden, directly down to the beach. (Please note the steps are steep, so for those less mobile, you can reach the beach walking along the road).

The traditional seaside town of Looe- the setting of TVs Beyond Paradise
Mount Edgcumbe country park is well worth a visit.

The pretty twinned villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are along the headland.
The picturesque fishing village of Polperro.
Portwrinkle is a short drive away.
A footpath winds its way down the cliff to wonderful Long Sands below Tregantle Fort.

We were blown away by Sundown. As a multi generational party of 11 adults (or nearly adults) it is always a worry that there will not be enough space but at Sundown it was perfect. The rooms, living areas and games room allowed us to be together but also have room to breathe. There was enough kit and equipment in the kitchen to allow comfortable preparation of big meals. The house was beautifully prepared by Sarah, clean and welcoming with super communication. Every interaction I have had with the team has been pleasant and helpful. The housekeeper was phoned a couple of times and the response was immediate and excellent each time. Housekeeper was very friendly and gave an excellent service. During our stay the property owner called us to check that everything was okay with us, which was a lovely and practical thing to do. Our family, two sons, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren (7 and 9), my wife and I all enjoyed our stay at Sundown. The location with beach access from the garden was perfect and the house had everything we needed. One minor issue was the broadband, Sky have too many filters enabled and it made it difficult to access some of the services we needed on rainy days and some of the coverage in the property was very weak to non-existent. However this was not a dealbreaker but it might be an issue for some. Thank you to Sundown owners, housekeepers and Classic Cottage’s for allowing us to have a memorable family holiday. PS The games room and games were enjoyed by all and the welcome was a lovely touch. We may well book again. ...

This was the perfect place to spend time with family and relax. The sea at the end of the garden was spectacular and going to sleep listening to it was truly wonderful. The place was spacious, clean and well equipped. The fridge in the games room stopped working but the housekeeper’s response was rapid and the owners had a new one delivered in a matter of days. The garden furniture and bbq were great and a lot of time was spent out there due to being very lucky with the weather. On the whole couldn’t fault it and would definitely return there! ...
