Mrs Gore June 2025

A beautiful property that excelled all expectations.

Mr Kightley April 2025

The housekeeper was phoned a couple of times and the response was immediate and excellent each time. Housekeeper was very friendly and gave an excellent service. During our stay the property owner called us to check that everything was okay with us, which was a lovely and practical thing to do. Our family, two sons, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren (7 and 9), my wife and I all enjoyed our stay at Sundown. The location with beach access from the garden was perfect and the house had everything we needed. One minor issue was the broadband, Sky have too many filters enabled and it made it difficult to access some of the services we needed on rainy days and some of the coverage in the property was very weak to non-existent. However this was not a dealbreaker but it might be an issue for some. Thank you to Sundown owners, housekeepers and Classic Cottage’s for allowing us to have a memorable family holiday. PS The games room and games were enjoyed by all and the welcome was a lovely touch. We may well book again. ...

The cottage is very spacious, great location. The garden is very large, great for children to run around.

Mr Yallop June 2024

A wonderful holiday where we met up with three generations of family from America, The Netherlands and Estonia. The house was clean, spacious and very well equipped with fridges, freezers, drinks fridges, dishwasher, washing machines and dryers which all worked well. Lots of pots, pans, dishes, crockery, glasses and cutlery so we never ran out. The patio had a ten seater dining table, and a lounger area with sofas, tables and chairs and cushions. Two barbecues - charcoal and Argentinian. The dining room seated twelve and there were two large lounges and a cosy two seater alcove with its own television. The bedrooms were great, especially the master with balcony. The garden was attractive and the steps to the beach so handy. The location is off the beaten track and the beach unspoilt. Terrific walks and a double decker bus ride to Torpoint was spectacular as was the Looe to Liskeard train journey. Highly popular was our visit to Fowey Valley Cider and Distillery. A dream location if you want to get away from it all....
