Bedroom One is on the ground floor, where a super comfy Zip and Link bed awaits. This can be set up as a Super-king or twin beds.
Bedroom One is wonderfully light and airy with double doors leading out to the garden.

Plenty of room to store your holiday wardrobe.
Bedroom One has a very stylish en suite Shower-room.

Steps lead from the garden, directly down to the beach. (Please note the steps are steep, so for those less mobile, you can reach the beach walking along the road).
And at the bottom of the step the beach awaits.

There are wonderful coastal walks nearby.
The traditional seaside town of Looe- the setting of TVs Beyond Paradise
Mount Edgcumbe country park is well worth a visit.
The historic house at Mount Edgcumbe.
The pretty twinned villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are along the headland.
The picturesque fishing village of Polperro.
Portwrinkle is a short drive away.
A footpath winds its way down the cliff to wonderful Long Sands below Tregantle Fort.

Worked out that this was our 6th visit to Sundown. We really like the location and the comfort of the house. It is always warm and well equipped to cater for a large group. Sundown is an amazing property in a breathtaking location. It’s huge, so at no point during our week did we feel claustrophobic despite being a party of 10! The housekeeper was extremely responsive to any queries we had and the owners even put in a call to see that we were enjoying our stay, which was a lovely touch. We were greeted with Prosecco and goodies which also went down well! The facilities and condition of the property were good, but not too perfect which actually made us feel a little more relaxed and at home, especially as we had a couple of dogs and a 16 month old baby! All in all, a fantastic stay which we would highly recommend. One more thing, I am usually a poor and light sleeper, but in Sundown I slept extremely heavily every night!...

Great space for 12 people but the property needs investment/maintainance to bring up to the standard one expects in a holiday property of this price.

Amazing location and house but very let down by the cleanliness and the tons of little jobs that all add up.If it had been me and the wife I wouldn't have stayed but as we were a party of 13 couldn't really do anything else.Games room not fit for purpose,games broke and a horrible damp smell and no running water in the taps in the toilet.Grass needed cutting along with the overgrown brambles.Not worth the £6.000 to hire...

We were so sorry to hear this and it is such a shame that this had not been reported at the time of your stay so that we could have worked with the owner on getting any of your concerns addressed so you could enjoy the rest of your time there to the fullest. He would always want his guests to enjoy his property and would have sent someone over immediately had he been aware. The owner usually has a handyman attend on most changeovers to check over everything and address any maintenance that is required. Sadly, your arrival date was one of the few that the handyman was not in attendance for, and his housekeeper had not highlighted any issues to him in his absence, but the owner has assured us that everything that you have highlighted was picked up on and rectified on your departure. We are sorry again if any of this was missed for your arrival to the property and we hope that you all still enjoyed your time there despite this. Classic Customer Support...
