A great cosy cottage for 2 couples. The upside down living was excellent with a large living space upstairs and 2 large bedrooms downstairs each with a bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed so you could easily cook in all the time. It was in a quite remote location so not easy to walk to the pub, particularly in the winter but very close to Shafetsbury in the car. Lots of beautiful countryside in easy driving distance. ...

A lovely barn conversion with all the equipment needed and in a scenic location . It was super relaxing and the hosts were warm and friendly without being intrusive. I would highly recommend this cottage

Very pleasant barn located in the farmyard where you can expect daily visits from the chickens, guinea fowl and ducks. Located in beautiful countryside and vey quiet and remote. The owners are quite happy for you to explore all over their farmland where there are fantastic views. Very well equipped and spacious....

Lovely set up with the both cottages especially at the moment when you are socially distancing from other family households. It worked well for us. It’s peaceful and away from crowds. Great walks from the cottages and also within a few minutes drive. We walked on 4 of the days for miles and saw maybe 5 other people. ...

We had such a lovely stay here at Hatts Barn. A stunning location with beautiful views and yet only a short drive from the amenities of Shaftesbury. Lots of wonderful pubs to explore and a great base for us to take day trips to the south coast and Longleat. The barn itself is stunning and the open plan living worked brilliantly for us as a family of 4. The kids loved the visits from the resident ducks and chickens and the owners were on hand to help should we need it. Would thoroughly recommend this beautiful spot and would love to stay again....
