The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Good bathrooms with great water pressure (often an issue at rural properties but not here!) and plenty of hot water. Comfortable beds. Good level of crockery/cutlery and kitchen equipment. The owners had decorated it with a Christmas Tree and a few decorations and also provided a homemade cake on arrival. A freshly made table decoration with candle and fresh foliage was delivered by the owner before Christmas Eve which was a very thoughtful gesture. We had a lovely week away and would not hesitate to return or recommend to others...

Our thanks to Anthea and David for making our stay at Hatt's Barn a memorable one. It's a lovely property, in a beautiful part of the world. The barn is very well appointed - we found everything we needed was provided (including a very tasty cake from Anthea!). Perfect for anyone looking to get away from it all (yet within easy reach of Shatesbury and other great locations)....

Hatts barn is in a wonderful quiet and rural location with walks straight from your doorstep. Living room/kitchen and master bedroom are very spacious and beautifully furnished and decorated. The kitchen is well equipped. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated that! On arrival we found a delicious cake and a large bottle of milk to welcome us which was very nice. Sorry to say we think that the bathrooms do not quite match the standard of the rest. They are functional but not as comfortable and luxurious as the rest of the barn. And compared to other holiday homes we stayed in we found the barn a bit overprized....
