The barn was a well-appointed holiday destination in beautiful countryside. Walks straight from the door and an excellent view from the top of the steep field beside the barn. Easy access to Shaftesbury with all its amenities and history.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Good bathrooms with great water pressure (often an issue at rural properties but not here!) and plenty of hot water. Comfortable beds. Good level of crockery/cutlery and kitchen equipment. The owners had decorated it with a Christmas Tree and a few decorations and also provided a homemade cake on arrival. A freshly made table decoration with candle and fresh foliage was delivered by the owner before Christmas Eve which was a very thoughtful gesture. We had a lovely week away and would not hesitate to return or recommend to others...
