We had a lovely week at Hatts Barn. The owners were very friendly & welcoming. Our girls loved feeding the chickens every day. Great location from which to explore Dorset's many attractions. A few adjustments would be welcome for the summer months (lighter duvets/blackout blinds), but these did not spoil our stay in any way and we would definitely book Hatts Barn again next time we visit the area....

Hatt's Barn is set in a beautiful location and its owners went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. The barn was beautiful, with a great log fire and comfortable furnishings. Our daughter loved the chickens and the owners dogs, and we were thankful of the relaxed environment the owners created. A wonderful, quiet New Years break at the barn. Beautiful accommodation with lovely views - spacious but warm and homely. Kitchen well equipped for self catering. Cake on arrival was delicious and Anthea was helpful with our minor queries whilst we were there. Some great walks in the vicinity (pick up a book from the tourist info in Shaftesbury if needed) and some great pubs (Beckford Arms especially). ...

Not suitable for cold weather unless owners fix the heating. Don't wxpect classic cottages to help if there are any problems.
