Hatt's Barn is set in a beautiful location and its owners went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. A wonderful, quiet New Years break at the barn. Beautiful accommodation with lovely views - spacious but warm and homely. Kitchen well equipped for self catering. Cake on arrival was delicious and Anthea was helpful with our minor queries whilst we were there. Some great walks in the vicinity (pick up a book from the tourist info in Shaftesbury if needed) and some great pubs (Beckford Arms especially). ...

Not suitable for cold weather unless owners fix the heating. Don't wxpect classic cottages to help if there are any problems.

Hatts Barn was an excellent base for our Christmas visit to family in the West Country. David and Anthea gave us a warm welcome to their lovely farm with tea and a cake. And we really appreciated the seasonal touches including the decorated Christmas tree! The barn is light, clean and comfortable with the room layout allowing everyone to be together without feeling crowded. Our Children enjoyed exploring the fields and woods around the farm and Shaftesbury is a five minute drive away. Perfect....
