The Owners of Gilly Barn are also custodians of the Caerhays Estate near St Austell and they would love you to visit during your holiday if you have time.

Portreath beach is stunning any time of year.
Trevaunance Cove and the village of St Agnes are so pretty.

This was a really lovely property that we would love to return to. It was extremely comfortable with lots of space for our family party of 5 adults. There was ample room to spread out and have our own space or a choice of spaces to get together uncramped and eat and discuss the next day’s activities/play games/watch TV. We were also entertained by the frequent visits of the 2 extremely friendly young farm cats and Rocky the spaniel who found his way into the back garden by an obviously tried and tested route! Gilly Barn would deserve 5 stars if the obnoxious odour in the main bedroom is sorted. However as it had a detrimental effect on our holiday I would give the barn three stars.

We had a lovely week at Gilly Barn and much appreciated the phone call and quick service from the lady who came to change the configuration of one of the beds shortly after we arrived. The house was very clean and quite an unusual layout. We found the location good for easy access to the north and south coasts. My little grandson particularly enjoyed watching the cows coming and going from milking as well as the dog and cat with kittens from the farmhouse next door. Altogether a good experience, thank you....

Gilly Barn was absolutely amazing, very peaceful and spacious. The cottage was very well equipped and cosy.
