Why not visit Falmouth harbour and explore the local shops and scenery.
The Owners of Gilly Barn are also custodians of the Caerhays Estate near St Austell and they would love you to visit during your holiday if you have time.
The golden sands of Gwithian are only a short drive away.
Portreath beach is stunning any time of year.
Trevaunance Cove and the village of St Agnes are so pretty.

We enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend this property. travelled as 4 Adults, 1 Baby, 1 Toddler plus Dog. Plenty of room for all . Due to Tracey the Housekeeper who we met when leaving the accommodation is immaculate & should be commended for doing such a great job. We used the Golden Lion once for a Takeaway , the food was fine it's a short drive down the lane . Beaches close by & Dog friendly out of season. ...

Great location to get to plenty of areas to explore, roads a bit narrow around the property but on takes a few minutes to get to the main ones Lovely house lots of room to use and good size garden fur the dog to run around in Would highly recommend this and wold definitely go back...

A beautifully decorated, converted roomy barn with a homely cosy feel. Very peaceful picturesque surroundings. Lovely welcome touches like the logs for the wood burner, the flowers and the kitchen supplies. Well positioned between Helston, Falmouth and Redruth.
