Captain's Retreat had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The property is beautifully decorated and it is ideally placed for all that Boscastle has to offer. Don't bother bringing any books with you - there are five bookcases full of books of every genre, both fiction and non-fiction, for you to read during your stay. Boscastle has plenty of places to eat, a great Fish and Chips takeaway, village store, bakery and gift shops, as well as the fascinating Museum of Witchcraft and, of course, the South West Coast Path.
