You will be welcome to explore the farm - just ask the owners - and to watch the wildlife using the lake. Please take care and supervise children at all times.

The owners are happy to introduce you to their Alpacas, Bondi, Crinny and Polo.
You may be able to feed these gentle Alpacas.

The stunning Jurassic cliffs at West Bay. Have lunch at the Watch House cafe - right on the beach.
West Bay has the nearest beach to Barbridge Cottage - this is the pretty harbour there.
This is the beach at Seatown, just below Dorset's famous Golden Cap. There is a lovely pub here too, perfect for lazy seaside lunches.

We love this cottage, it’s spacious, well equipped and peaceful. The owners are friendly and the alpacas are interesting to spend some time with! The location is a short drive from the coast where you can walk or watch the world go by.

We had a wonderful stay at Barbridge Cottage. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable and was in a peaceful location with easy access to both West Dorset and East Devon. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, forwarding local information to us a week or so before our visit. They were also very generous with their personal space allowing guests to walk round their lake and fields and introducing us to their alpacas and their adorable dog, Winston, and cats, Stitch and Lily. There is a decked area at the rear of the cottage and, as it was very hot when we were there, it was pleasant to be able to sit out in the evenings and cool down. Beautiful area. Ideal place to stay if disabled as has wetroom. Cottage is very well equipped in a lovely peaceful location with very friendly and helpful owners close by. Alpacas to visit and feed with permission
