There is a fabulous play-area for children in the garden - as well as the shared games-room.
The farm is set in a gentle valley about a mile from the little town of Colyton.
Another newly created visitor attraction is the Seaton Wetlands - a peaceful nature reserve which attracts many species of birds.

You can visit the Seaton Wetlands any time but the bird hides are not open every day so do check.
The famous Seaton Tramway is a must! There is a station in Colyton and the route along the Axe Valley is beautiful.
Seaton has a pretty harbour as well as the long pebbled beach.
The coastal town of Seaton is just a few miles away. This is the brand new Jurassic Visitor Centre - a great place to visit with young children.

This is a lovely cottage in a great location. It was comfortable and peaceful. The lake and the games room were a welcome addition and the children were thrilled to find ducklings on the lake. There were lots of places to visit within a short car drive. We had a brilliant holiday here and would recommend Stable Tallet....

We found Stable Tallet to be a very comfortable, well equipped and spacious cottage for 6 adults, in a beautiful area of Devon. The extras of the games room and hot tub were very much appreciated and enjoyed by all. None of us would hesitate to recommend this cottage for a relaxing break away. We would also recommend the Volunteer Inn in Sidmouth if you are in need for a delicious home from home Sunday roast...... be sure to pre book. Sandra our host was very friendly and to hand if needed. Thanks for a lovely stay....

I would recommend this warm clean cottage,it was the best I have stayed in.Wonderful views and welcome tray of tea and biscuits . The hot tub was was huge and we made the most of it all in all a superb place to stay .

We had a long journey from Bedfordshire and arrived later than we would have liked. I would recommend leaving earlier regardless of the checking in time and stopping somewhere nearby before heading to the cottage for the 4pm check in. The owner Sandra welcomed us on arrival and said she would pop by in the morning to check everything was okay. Lovely fresh flowers and biscuits was left on kitchen table and a pint of milk in fridge. The cottage itself was very spacious and presentable. It is a little bit old in places, squeaky floor boards in the living room. Kitchen floor tiles uneven especially near the entrance to the living room so care needs to be taken. Cottage was fully equipped for self catering, so shouldn’t need to bring anything. It was a peaceful stay and the hot tub was used to ease aching muscles after days out to Charmouth fossil hunting and Lyme Regis. ...
