The farm is set in a gentle valley about a mile from the little town of Colyton.
Another newly created visitor attraction is the Seaton Wetlands - a peaceful nature reserve which attracts many species of birds.

You can visit the Seaton Wetlands any time but the bird hides are not open every day so do check.
The famous Seaton Tramway is a must! There is a station in Colyton and the route along the Axe Valley is beautiful.
Seaton has a pretty harbour as well as the long pebbled beach.
The coastal town of Seaton is just a few miles away. This is the brand new Jurassic Visitor Centre - a great place to visit with young children.

We were a family of six people, 2 Grandparents, 2 sons and 2 Grandchildren, age ranges 11-74. Stable Tallet was perfect for us all and we had a really great holiday there. The cottage is beautiful with every home comfort a family could want, including the much used and enjoyed hot tub and shared games room. So nice to have beds already made up on arrival and plenty of towels provided. Fantastic, well fitted family kitchen diner and huge, comfortable lounge. Beautiful views of the Devon countryside and wildlife aplenty. Superb. ...

We had a lovely wet weather holiday here. The farm is up hill from colyton so don't expect to walk to pub in evening unless you are super fit.The kitchen has everything you cd wish for and in abundance. I think it wd be better value as a winter holiday, but in my opinion overpriced for a summer one when you are out all day. ...

Perfect location, perfect accommodation. Really great for young children with the garden area. We enjoyed using the Games Room. The owner was friendly and welcoming. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the well stocked fishing lake. Waking up to the sound of the cows was lovely....

An excellent holiday for the whole family. Beaches at Sidmouth and Exmouth both have clean sand and nearby pubs, the Blue Ball at Sidmouth and the Golden Hind at Musbury served excellent food. The accommodation was excellent and everything required was provided for. This is the second time we have stayed at Stable Tallet and it will not be the last....
