Ideally Located in a small village near Fowey. The house is really comfortable and fully equipped. We enjoyed the inside as much as the outside.

This cottage is like a home from home. Full of vintage, personal objects - which we loved, but may not be to everyone's taste. The view is gorgeous and Golant is a very pretty village on the Fowey River with a great pub right on the seafront. The cottage is very spacious and had everything we needed for an extended family visit with 3 adults, 2 young kids and a dog. The garden is very pretty with lots of places to sit - just a pity we didn't have the weather to sit out. Great value a 5 night stay at Easter too. We would love to visit again. ...

Great base for a relaxing holiday. Plenty of space & well equipped. Lovely village, stunning setting, friendly locals & the pub “Fisherman’s Arms” is a must for anyone staying there. We’ll definitely be returning to Golant.

This property is in a peaceful and picturesque location although the single track road to it can be difficult at times especially as there was some construction going on in the village and lorries caused some difficulties. The property itself is quirky, which would be fine if it didn’t feel so tired and grubby. It was like stepping back in time as the property still retained its original 1960’s feel. The beds were comfortable and the bedding and towels were clean, but the floors could have done with a wash, the armchairs were extremely saggy and there were stains on the seats. The photos of the property did not reflect the actual atmosphere of the house....
