Very comfortable stay in a great location. Close to the centre of Fowey for eating and shopping. We recommend 'Food for thought', Quay bakers and boat hire at Albert Quay. Walked to St Catherine's castle and, via the Polruan ferry, to Lantic Bay (more stenuous!). Close to Lanhydrock, worth a visit for the interesting house and for the cycle hire and tracks. Also convenient for the Lost Gardens, Charlestown and Plymouth....

This is an excellent, well appointed property with many special touches. Very clean and well equipped. The owners had a 'bottom drawer' full of maps, leaflets and walks which we used. We liked the little patio garden which gets the afternoon sun. It was convenient for the many eating establishments in Fowey, but rather a pull back up the hill after closing time. It felt very much like home from home. ...

Very well equipped house with really everything we need, very clean. We were quite delighted that we found milk, wine, chips and a welcome card when we arrived. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, Toilet paper, detergent, dishwasher detergent, soap, salt, pepper mill, kitchen linen, napkins were available. It is a short but steep way down to the Shops in the wonderful little town Fowey. From the bedroom we saw even between the houses the river mouth. We could have stayed longer in this lovely house, but we have to leave after a week.What a pitty!...

Ideal holiday location. The car park is a bit difficult to manouvre in. Mobile phone reception (depending on your supplier) is bad or in our case none existant. Public telephone (50yds from accommodation) will not accept cash calls a card is needed or reverse charges. Eating out is recommended, very generous portions so unable to follow with a dessert. Can be very hilly and steep in places but the scenery is absolutely beautiful. The local people are very friendly and helpful....
