This property is in a great location very close to the quayside, yet retains it peacefulness in a tranquil position.

The parking space is a massive bonus as spaces are very limited outside of the general car parks.

We had a brilliant relaxing stay in the cottage and would highly recommend this property

August 2017

The property was immaculate, well decorated and perfectly situated. We felt very pampered. Thanks for making it an excellent holiday. Parking spot was ideal too!

July 2017

lovely cottage in a great location!

May 2017

Cosy well-equipped cottage on the doorstep of all the Fowey facilities yet quiet and tranquil. Would certainly return!

May 2017

This cottage is well situated and has the benefit of parking . It is spotless, well equiped and comfortable, congratulations to the owner for the lovely secluded and well planted outside garden space.

September 2015

Excellent facility in prime location. Bottle of wine and welcome card from owner showed a professional approach.

September 2015

Lovely cottage, great location

August 2015

Very comfortable stay in a great location. Close to the centre of Fowey for eating and shopping. We recommend 'Food for thought', Quay bakers and boat hire at Albert Quay. Walked to St Catherine's castle and, via the Polruan ferry, to Lantic Bay (more stenuous!). Close to Lanhydrock, worth a visit for the interesting house and for the cycle hire and tracks. Also convenient for the Lost Gardens, Charlestown and Plymouth.

June 2015

Please pass on our thanks to the owner - we intended to write in the Visitor's Book, but forgot in our haste to get on the road on day of departure. We had a wonderful stay in Vougeot, as we always have and are looking forward to coming back!

April 2015

Vougeot is a delight!! Homely, comfortable, high standard of furnishings, and peaceful with its own little semi-private garden. It's very close to the centre of Fowey - a short walk down a steep slope, but that's what Fowey is. Then all the shops and restaurants are right there. We ate twice at Sams, both wonderful seafood meals. Went twice to the Eden Project on their annual ticket, a short trip and easy to do if you don't want to cram it all in one day. It's also lovely to eat there (paella at the Mediterranean Biome recommended), and our son did the new zip wire :-). Went to Lost Gardens of Heligan, took a motor boat ride on the river, and checked out some beaches, so a cracking holiday. We would love to return.

June 2014

We enjoyed every day of our holiday in this beautiful cottage.

July 2013

Ideal holiday location. The car park is a bit difficult to manouvre in. Mobile phone reception (depending on your supplier) is bad or in our case none existant. Public telephone (50yds from accommodation) will not accept cash calls a card is needed or reverse charges. Eating out is recommended, very generous portions so unable to follow with a dessert. Can be very hilly and steep in places but the scenery is absolutely beautiful. The local people are very friendly and helpful.

June 2013

This is an excellent, well appointed property with many special touches. Very clean and well equipped. The owners had a 'bottom drawer' full of maps, leaflets and walks which we used. We liked the little patio garden which gets the afternoon sun. It was convenient for the many eating establishments in Fowey, but rather a pull back up the hill after closing time. It felt very much like home from home.

March 2013

Very well equipped house with really everything we need, very clean. We were quite delighted that we found milk, wine, chips and a welcome card when we arrived. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, Toilet paper, detergent, dishwasher detergent, soap, salt, pepper mill, kitchen linen, napkins were available. It is a short but steep way down to the Shops in the wonderful little town Fowey. From the bedroom we saw even between the houses the river mouth. We could have stayed longer in this lovely house, but we have to leave after a week. What a pitty!
