Sleeping four guests in two carefully arranged bedrooms, the main bedroom with its king sized bed offers a restful and calming atmosphere. The twin room has a simple but cheerful appeal suiting both adults and children alike. A practical family bathroom completes the accommodation making the property practical for families or friends sharing.
Outside, the garden adds to the cottages charm. It is a peaceful and private space where you can enjoy the slower rhythms of the day- from a morning coffee in the fresh air to relaxed evenings as the light fades. The easy connection between the house and garden make this space ideal for entertaining in the garden or for children to play in the sunshine.
Kingston Barns is made up of four adjoining barns, the three other properties are The Dairy (4536), The Pigsty (4538) and The Cattle Byre(4535). Each of which can offer separate accommodation or a perfect place to invite the whole family for a special occasion.
Set within easy reach of the coast, The Stables is perfectly placed to enjoy all that the island has to offer. From here you can explore scenic coastal paths so bring your walking boots! Starting at Whale Chine car park, follow the picturesque path through to Shephard's Chine and down onto the beach to cool off with a dip in the water.
Those less inclined to walk can still take in the sights with an impressive cruise along the iconic Military Road, taking in the breathtaking views of the sea and cliffs beyond. Stop off at Isle of Wight Pearl and enjoy a cream tea or treat yourself to a cherished keepsake.
For a family adventure, head off for the day to Blackgang Chine, the UK's oldest theme park. Children and adults can enjoy hours of fun here creating those precious family memories. Take a picnic and eat together while looking out onto the stunning sea view.
Colwell Bay, on the western shore, with calm shallow waters it is well suited for swimming and snorkelling. Round off the day with a refreshing swim followed by a relaxed BBQ on the beach as the sun sets. If you would prefer for everything to be taken care of, reserve a table at The Hut, a beach restaurant with a very good reputation for superb food and a great atmosphere.
