It's only a 10 minute walk from the cottages down to the charming villages of Kingsand and Cawsand. Once discovered you will be smitten.
Both villages have their own beach, popular with swimmers and paddleboarders.
Spend the day at Mount Edgcumbe park with its historic house, Listed gardens and acres of parkland.
The working fishing town of Looe provides traditional seaside charm where you can try your luck at crab, mackerel or even deep sea shark fishing.
The coastline is quite stunning and when the tide is out the sandy beach stretches for miles and miles.
There's a great choice of places to eat and drink in the area - The Canteen at Maker Heights comes highly recommended.
For a complete change of scenery, hop on the ferry from Cremyll or Cawsand over to the maritime city of Plymouth.

Wonderful location, accommodation was high spec and well designed. Peaceful site with excellent services, the pool was very clean and easy to book. The owners have a great idea about what a holiday should feel like for their customers. The local area is beautiful and much quieter than more popular parts of Cornwall. Property set in a beautiful, peaceful location and within walking distance to Kingsand/Cawsand. Steep hill back to property so need a certain amount of fitness. Larch Cottage very comfortable with lovely decking (and grass area below perfect for our dog) within a relaxing environment. Wringford Cottages grounds kept immaculate with some areas kept overgrown for wildlife - perfect. Would certainly stay again....

We had a lovely stay. There are loads of walks from the doorstep, and plenty of places to eat and drink in the very pretty villages Kingsand/Cawsand which were within easy walking distance. We also loved The Canteen at Maker Heights for breakfast/lunch. Our hosts were great too and very knowledgeable about the area. ...
