We had a lovely stay at Higher Trennal Farm and would definitely return. The location is peaceful and tucked away, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The garden is beautifully maintained with plenty of space – our two dogs absolutely loved it. There is also plenty of room for parking. The owner was friendly and helpful, while also being unobtrusive, which we really appreciated. The property itself was very well equipped with everything we needed, and all the appliances were in good working order. The showers were excellent, and the house was warm, light, and welcoming, with lots of places to sit and relax. The wood burner was perfect for colder evenings and very efficient. We particularly loved the pool table and table tennis, which kept us entertained and make it a great choice for families. Although there were only three of us, the property is very well set up to accommodate larger groups comfortably. It’s also a great spot for walking, with footpaths and quiet lanes right from the door, including walks to Godolphin Hill. We walked to Praa Sands (about 45 minutes along the lanes), and it’s about 25 minutes to the main road to catch a bus to Penzance or Helston on days you don’t want to drive.
