This was a wonderful house in a very central location - beautifully decorated. (The “outside space” is very small / we didn’t find this particularly useable).

We're so pleased to see you enjoyed your stay. The courtyard is tiny, we agree. Being a traditional cottage tucked away in the heart of Port Isaac, there is a compromise on outside space, this perhaps being a spot for fishermen of old to store crabpots or their daily catch rather than a place for the family to enjoy a barbecue or play games. It is a brilliant little nook to enjoy a peaceful cuppa before the world is awake, or for leaving sandy beach gear, and we're sure you'll agree that the proximity to all that the village offers, and the harbour shoreline is a worthwhile trade off. The cottage is beautiful, so nicely decorated and comfortable. It's a perfect location in the middle of the town. However, if you have mobility issues then it would be a problem as you can't take your car near the cottage. A parking space is at the top of a steep hill which meant we got our exercise, but was a good addition to the house. Lovely restaurants and pubs nearby. Such a pretty place to stay and lots of lovely places nearby to get to. Fowey, Padstow and Tintagel were great places to see. Recommend The Mote and The Port Gaverne for food without traveling and Paul Ainsworth's Caffe Rojano in Padstow was so tasty and not overly expensive. A great find. A lovely holiday ?? ...
