Dispite having rain day and night, we still had a wonderful time in our cottage.
The hosts were friendly but not in your face. couldn't do the walking we planned but, met so many warm and welcoming people.

Fabulous rural location but well connected to major roads enabling trips to both the north and south coasts . Very spacious and airy living space with a lovely large kitchen . Perfect environment to chill and relax with a feeling of remoteness and escape from the real world . Beautifully maintained grounds and it was a privilege to stay in a property steeped in so much history . Thank you Verity and Matt for a lovely stay and we hope to be able to return . ...

Roskennals Granary ticks all the boxes for a wonderful holiday in the heart of the peaceful countryside but also with easy access for exploring both coasts of West Cornwall. Ideal for getting away from it all and relaxing. We would love to welcome you back soon. Sarah, Customer Support...

A very last-minute booking (travelling the day after!) with a dog for the first time meant our options were limited. We came across Roskennals Granary, and although it was a five-hour drive, it ticked all the boxes on paper—so we went for it. It was absolutely worth the trip for two adults, an 8-year-old, a 12-year-old, and a dog. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The properties, outdoor space, and location all exceeded expectations. The three holiday properties, along with the family home, are set at the end of a no-through road—perfectly secluded and peaceful. The entire estate is impeccably maintained by the owners, who were extremely approachable, friendly, and attentive, always tending to the gardens and shared spaces. Although the three properties are relatively close together, it never felt crowded—you quickly forget you have neighbours. The cottage comfortably houses mum & dad plus our two children. The cottaged was clasified as an updside down house by our children due to sleeping accomodation being downstairs and living upstairs. Ample space upstairs but still felt cozy with wood stove on in the evening. The large, well-kept lawns provided plenty of space for both kids and dogs to run around and burn off energy. The location turned out to be ideal, offering easy access to the west, north, and south coasts of western Cornwall. After the initial five-hour journey, everything else felt conveniently close. All in all, we were very happy campers, especially given how last-minute the trip was. We would highly recommend it to anyone with a dog and a young family looking for a relaxing break....
