Mr Simpson April 2026

The view is wonderful, and the house is one of the best maintained we've been in for a while... Furnishings are comfortable and everything works as it should... The parking is real and always available The View over the Harbour and out to sea is very (pleasantly) distracting; perfect for a chilled week. Plenty of possibilities to wander, walk, boat trip, eat and drink without moving the car....

Seaview is a gem of a property, making the most of the views from the balcony with the upside down living arrangements. We looked forward to returning to the property after a day out to soak up the afternoon sun and enjoy the stunning sea views. The location is superb with the added bonus of a parking space and a short walk to amenities. The combined lounge, dining and kitchen area was very comfortable, light, clean and spotless. We very much appreciated the provisions that were provided as well. This was our first time in St Mawes and we wouldn't hesitate to book this property again; it was just perfect. Great place for a holiday

Along the waterfront you will find St Mawes Sailing Club (upstairs) which is a lovely spot for an evening drink. The St Mawes Hotel has great food. ...

The real star of this cottage is its location close to the centre of St Mawes and conveniently close to the Rising Sun! The views over the harbour and Carrick Roads make it the best location that we have stayed in during many visits to St Mawes. The parking space is a real bonus; there was ample room for our SUV. One note of caution though; access on foot from St Mawes involves a short but steep hill which may pose a challenge for those with limited mobility....
