The charming village of Polperro is picture perfect.
The historic house, gardens and parkland at Lanhydrock make for a great day out. If you enjoy adventures on two wheels there is also a network of cycling trails.

The trendy sailing town of Fowey where you can while away many an hour watching the comings and goings along the water, browse the shops and galleries or try out the delights at one of the many places to eat and drink.

Had a wonderful restful week - 30 Aug -6 Sept (in spite of the rain!) in a beautiful peaceful location. Really friendly hosts, who even came & helped pull me up when I tripped & fell getting out of the car! Didn't feel the need to rush around visiting places (we know the area quite well) & could quite happily have stayed & enjoyed the view & the sounds of the birds & the trees, with a lovely large grassed area for our dog to run around, as well as safe walks 'on the doorstep'. Would love to visit again....
