For even more fun on two wheels, cycle the Camel Trail, a 17 mile route that starts close to Rose Lodge and winds all the way out to Padstow on the coast.

Amazing house in a charming village. We had an excellent stay in the house, very calm, we had a nice view on cows, rabbits on the field behind the garden. The house is well equipped, you have everything what you need. The local pub is very close, 3 min by walk. The garden is relaxing and overall very attractive. What a beautiful place to stay, set in a gorgous village. We enjoyed the local pub where eveyone was friendly. Great central location to travel to the north or south coasts of cornwall. I stayed in this home by myself and even though it is large it felt warm and cozy - everything had been thought of and the furnishings were stunning just my taste! I have stayed in Blissland before about 6 years ago and it is lovely for a relaxing holiday. A short walk to the very welcoming pub and slightly longer stroll to the community shop where you can buy essentials and they serve lovely coffee too. The church is stunning and peaceful and the village green s the perfect setting for the pub. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both rose lodge and blissland to anyone. ...

Beautifully designed place to stay Very comfortable and stones throw from pub, shop and Green. Very relaxing décor Hill starts on driveway not for the faint-hearted!
