Agatha Cottage is beautifully furnished and comfortable. The location is ideally situated between the 'English Riviera' coast and the River Dart and walking distance to the latter. There are so many things to do in the area but we especially enjoyed the River Dart, its associated towns and the coastline to the west where the beaches are stunning and uncrowded. The only thing we missed a little was an outside space with a view but this did not distract from the overall experience....

The cottage was 1st class, a lot of care and attention to detail went into this cottage.and never wanted for anything. Spotlessly clean and Sam was always on hand for any advice

We had a lovely week, and the cottage was the best part of it. Brilliantly renovated, and tastefully furnished and equipped - a masterclass in quietly efficient elegance. Thanks, Sam, for being a thoughtful and considerate host. This was our first holiday with classic cottages, and you've set the bar high!...

A beautifully modernised traditional stone cottage perfectly situated for access to the stunning South Devon coastline. I had a lovely time exploring the many local footpaths as well as visiting the two nearby National Trust properties ( Greenway and Coleton Fishacre ). After long summer days walking and exploring it was a pleasure to return to lovely Agatha Cottage; clean, comfortable, cosy and quiet with tasteful decor, modern appliances and a particularly lovely bathroom. The friendly owner is on hand if you need anything or have any questions. Nothing is too much trouble. I had the best time and hope to return. ...

If you choose to stay at Agatha Cottage you will not be disappointed, it really is a beautiful cottage, the decor is even better than it looks on the photos! The villiage is really quiet just horses clopping by and the occasional whistle of the steam train. The local pub was great with decent food and a fun quiz night on a Thursday. We walked from the cottage to Greenways twice, once to visit the house and the second time to get the little ferry to Dartmouth. So much to see and do in this lovely area. We went on the Steam train from Paignton to Dartmouth too, visited Coleton Fishacre, Brixham, Totnes and Blackpool Sands ( A beautiful privately owned Beach). A really perfect week with Sam the owner so very helpful too. If I could give this cottage 6 stars i would!...
