The little church at Church Cove, more recently made famous by the BBC series Poldark, is a few minutes down the road, with National Trust parking nearby.
Sandy at low tide and lifeguarded in high season plus toilets and a little hut serving snacks and drinks.
Build sandcastles or pebble towers, dip your toes in the water or surf the waves, the choice is yours.
Pretty Porthleven harbour is only five miles away. This 'foodie' place has lots of cafes, restaurants and quaint shops.
The Helford River has much to offer the visitor whether you like to explore by foot or on the water.
Kynance Cove is a highlight of The Lizard Peninsula.

Cadgwith Cove is only a short drive away.
Coverack Bay has a lovely sandy beach and a windsurfing school.

We had a very comfortable stay at The Cow Shed. The house is so well equipped for everything you could need. The owners gave us a warm welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. The location is perfect for exploring the Lizard. We found this area to be stunningly beautiful with breathtaking coastal paths, quiet beaches and sleepy fishing villages. We hope to return soon!!...
