Lavender Barn is one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Spacious accommodation with every need catered for and in the most perfect setting. Beautiful garden and very peaceful. Tim and Sarah were perfect hosts, nothing too much trouble with fresh flowers and homemade cookies on arrival. Only one mile away from Helston and Porthleven. Would thoroughly recommend this property....

Cottage was only 1.5 miles from Porthleven and could be easily walked but the return journey was slightly uphill! It was well furnished and the kitchen had everything you’d need if you were cooking your meals here. Tim and Sarah were very good hosts and we enjoyed the views of rolling countryside from their lovely garden. The patio had table and chairs and was a great place to chill out after enjoying a BBQ....

We had a lovely week in Lavender Barn and were blessed with great weather! The location was perfect for us; a 30 minute walk into Porthleven, but away from the hustle and bustle at this peak holiday time. It was good that the Barn has a parking space outside and quick and easy access to explore the south west. The hosts were extremely welcoming and were on hand if we had any questions or problems. Being a converted barn, the property was nice and cool in the hot weather....
