Warm, comfortable house with a view down to the harbour, over the bay and out to Nare Head. A great base to explore the Roseland Peninsular. We enjoyed walking from the house along the coast paths to the many local beaches and headlands and inland along the creeks. Portscatho/Gerrans has good places for eating out within walking distance too. We liked both the Standard pub at the top of the hill and the Plume of Feathers at the bottom of the hill - different style food but both now serve excellent Guinness. Hidden Hut on the beach at Porthcurnick is great but incredibly popular so be prepared to queue and sit on the grass or beach to eat. Thirstea at Towan provides a much welcome pasty/ice cream/ cup of tea/ cheeses scone etc mid-walk or beach break. Pendower Farm shop sells wonderful produce - fish and shell fish caught from their own boats, meat, bacon and eggs from their own animals. Pricey so a holiday treat but a large fresh crab bap was a definite holiday highlight!...

This is a very comfortable house with everything you need and great views. It's a great base for exploring The Roseland both by car and walks from the door.

Good sized house, well equipped and very convenient to the village centre. A short walk to the famous Hidden Hut, excellent lunches and views.

Lovely really well appointed property. Huge master bedroom. Good outdoor furniture and decking. Five minutes from village beach.

Harbour View is an excellent base for exploring the Roseland with it's many beaches and cliff and creek walks. It lies in the middle of the combined villages of Portscatho by the sea and St Gerrans up the hill, all the better for taking advantage of the various places to eat and drink. The local stores and Post Office supply almost everything. The nearby Pendower Farm (was Curgurrell farm shop) sells freshly caught fish and seafood as well as meat and fresh vegetables which provides for some delicious home cooked meals. For the coffee and croissant enthusiasts, Tatums down on the seafront has unbeatable views and daily updates on the sea temperatures for those brave enough to venture into the sea....
