A little further up the coast is the pretty village of Port Isaac. Home to TV's Doc Martin, The Fisherman's Friends and celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw.
The scenery is simply stunning.
Hop on the foot ferry from Rock over to Padstow, where culinary delights galore await.
If you prefer you can cycle to Padstow along the Camel Trail from Wadebridge.

We had a wonderful stay at Krowji Cottage, one of Classic Cottages stays. The location of the accommodation in Polzeath was ideal with a stunning view. The cottage was well appointed and quaintly decorated in a beachside theme. Classic Cottages were very easy to deal with and communication with the cottage owner was also very clear. A welcoming touch was the saffron buns and clotted cream left for our arrival. A great stay and would definitely make a return visit to Krowji cottage or indeed try another Classic Cottage. ...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Krowji just above Polzeath beach. Excellent location for walking the coast path, direct from the cottage and surfing at the lifeguard patrolled beach. The “shed” is well equipped and comfortable and is well thought through. Would definitely recommend ...
